My journey into perfumery began in the U.S. Army, where I trained in laboratory sciences and learned the precision of measuring. Years later, a love of global cuisine sparked a fascination with blending spices & collecting aromatics from around the world and exploring how scent, flavor, and memory intertwine.

That curiosity naturally led me to crafting fragrances. Using my lab background, I began experimenting with natural essences, making my own extracts, and studying aromatics across different cultures. After living abroad and learning from these experiences, I returned to Chattanooga, Tennessee to begin the work I was meant to do.

Today, I handcraft every Onycha fragrance in small batches in my own workshop. Each scent is a blend of science, artistry, and passion made with patience, rare botanicals, and an unwavering dedication to beauty.
