Blue Winter

Step into the hush of a conifer forest after the first snowfall. Icy air shimmers with the sapphire‑green clarity of blue cypress, while an ocean breeze drifts across frosted pines. From the heart of an untouched lagoon, blue lotus unfurls its porcelain petals, lending a serene, almost other‑worldly calm.

And then the Blue Winter story turns: pink‑ruby sparks of pepper crackle through the cold, giving way to the rare, incense‑tinged bloom of Tibetan rhododendron, floating like smoke from a distant mountain bonfire. Slowly, the chill melts into a glowing reverie of hand‑rolled tobacco, sun‑warmed sandalwood and glowing resins, wrapped in modern, silken musks that cling to skin as delicately as fresh snowflakes.

Blue Winter is a unisex fragrance by design—sometimes soft, sometimes steel‑edged— as it shifts with the wearer, feeling effortlessly feminine one moment, intriguingly masculine the next. Composed in small batches from rare and precious ingredients, this fragrance lingers for hours, blooming in cold air like a secret thaw.

Perfumer’s Note: This fragrance holds a special place in my heart … it was dreamt up in Mexico, in a beautiful old Spanish home along the Cuale River.  I suppose I was missing snow and winter, surrounded by the tropical heat.  Tibetan Rhododendron is the star of the show, supported by Hyacinth, Blue Cypress, Tobacco and Blue Lotus … Blue Winter started off as a rugged men’s cologne, but through testing and reformulation it shifted to this more feminine version.  A masculine version of Blue Winter may be coming in the future.
