ACT 1 - Frozen Gin Air
You’re standing outside, on a clear winter morning. The air is sharp with frost. The world, completely still. There’s anticipation in the air, but for what, you’re not sure. Everything feels endless and quiet. You walk slowly through the pale blue landscape, and though the snow is untouched, it feels like you’ve been here before.
ACT 2 - Blue Flower
A flower bed in the dead of winter. Strange, dream-like. Gentle blues and white hues. A mystery or a sign of enduring life. The flowers feel like a sign you’ve left for yourself in another life, a reminder that life gets better.
ACT 3 - Warm Forest
The scent of old wood and smoke from a winter fire, now slowly dying out. A strange, enveloping state. Softly grounding, like waking up from a dream. The edges are a bit sharper. The contours feel clearer. Still, the feeling that you’ve been here before lingers. Who warmed themselves near the fire, if not a past version of yourself? It’s time to return home.

PERFUMER’S NOTE: “This fragrance holds a special place in my heart. It was dreamt up in Mexico, in a beautiful old Spanish home along the Cuale River. I suppose I was missing snow and winter, surrounded by the tropical heat. Tibetan Rhododendron is the star of the show, supported by Hyacinth, Blue Cypress, Tobacco and Blue Lotus. Blue Winter started off as a rugged men’s cologne, but through testing and reformulation, it shifted to this more unisex identity. Through the use of airy blank space and the mind’s tendency to fill it, I’ve created the elusive ‘Flicker Sillage’ effect… the delight of such an effect is never knowing what your mind will produce.” Joseph Erwin
