ACT 1 - Salted Citrus Blade
You arrive just as the ritual begins. A glorious tune fills the air, joyous and sweet, luminous and strange, cutting through the fog. Citrus against salt. No words, but a new taste in your mouth, and a glimpse of neon light, the mystery and expectation. 
ACT 2 - Luminous Rose-Halo
The space warms as the temple fills. No one you recognise, yet you remember you were once a witness yourself. Rose light blooms. It forms a strange, velvety halo that matches the merriment and drama of the temple. Your offer is accepted. A theatrical energy emerges from the crowd, the laughter and ecstasy and dance. 
ACT 3 - Sacred Resin Seal
A sacral resin seal. The embered tobacco smoke thickens, oud shadows vibrate beneath the floor. It is done. The moment is archived in the temple walls, beckoning to the women, the slaves, the non-citizens, the marginalized, to seize this rare moment to be alive, and free.

Perfumer’s Note: “I imagined Burgund blooming in a slightly surreal, yet theatrical space - a lost temple, bright light slicing through incense haze. Velvet warmth under an immaculate structure. When creating the family that Burgund belongs to, I kept being taken to the same time, the same place…an ancient Temple of ecstatic dance, madness, shadowy empowerment…this family evokes a very potent sense of place, and Burgund captures a special moment in time.
