Emerald Slice

ACT I - The First Slice: Translucent Green 
In your dream, you bite through a strange, green fruit. A burst of cold juice you can't quite put your finger on. Is it pear, apple, green mandarin, bergamot, or all of them? Or none? A fruit that only resides in the dreamscape. Something new, impossibly fresh, wet and green. Trembling emerald energy.
ACT II - The Nectar: Golden-Yellow
The initial crunch softens into petals. Peony, warmed by a hint of vanilla bean. Impossibly so, nectar drips into your every sense. Light bends, colors shift, textures vibrate steadily. The fruit and the warm flower come together in a luminous body. You feel surreal, yet complete.
ACT III - The Last Glow: Dry Crimson 
The dreamscape suddenly feels less acute. The edges are warm wood, still holding the picture together. The glow remains, but it feels more intimate, muskier. Ambergris and vetiver carry you in an upwards motion, as if floating towards waking life.

Perfumer’s Note: “I envisioned Emerald Slice through a bright color arc constraint. From the emerald green top to the heart’s golden nectar-and-cream radiant core, down through to the addictive, dry reddish base, it reveals a high-definition rainbow. Clean, but definitely not sterile, and unisex by architecture, Emerald Slice makes use of a signature Onycha mechanism:  the Dual-Valve Engine. Here, the base is given the ability to express both a persistent “Dry Timber” axis and a warm glowing “Amber Resin” axis. These axes are cleverly fused using insights from the Onycha Method.” Joseph Erwin
