MossMoss is like a walk through a deep forest after the rain, with hints of freshness, spices, and soft woods. It begins with a fresh, green burst thanks to galbanum and grapefruit, accompanied by basil and black pepper that add energy and a spicy kick. Hedione gives it a very subtle floral sensation, almost like the scent of clean air around a garden.

Within a few minutes, MossMoss begins to feel warmer and more enveloping. Resinous, dry, and slightly earthy notes emerge—like elemi, cypress, and cedarwood. There’s also a lightly sweet touch of vanilla and cardamom, balanced by the floral aroma of geranium.

At the heart and base of MossMoss lie the deeper notes: moss, damp earth, soft and smoky woods like vetiver, patchouli, and amber. There are also modern and enveloping touches from ingredients like cashmeran, javanol, and ambroxan, which help the scent last for hours without becoming heavy.

Perfumer’s Note: Ok, this one is just iconic … I admit, I love MossMoss.  It’s just so perfectly rounded, a wonderful take on the Forest Floor fragrance.  I’ve noticed that this fragrance is aging beautifully too.  MossMoss was created by combining two different aromatic mosses and using clever bridges to create that full, rich aroma.  I hope you love this one as much as I do.
