The warm golden light of the afternoon envelopes the botanical atelier. You feel expansive. A sudden rush of ideas. A curious disposition. Lactonic porcelain with blue-purple filament.

Perfumer’s Note: “I wanted to achieve a colour arc that begins with a gooey strawberry red, then transitions to a golden agrestic heart tinged with a hint of blue-purple thread, unfolding further to reveal a cool crystalline green foundation with a galbanum edge. The hero of the scent is a fruit medley that focuses on a sense of bold yet realistic identity - an effect that can be elusive in fruit-forward scents. The mood is cool flirtation, with a wonderful tension that feels inevitable…the brain yearns for resolution, and that delay in resolution is a source of beauty. The layers are complex: a cool top, a warm heart and a cool, composed drydown; this sandwiching of warmth between two cool layers creates a luxurious feeling that seems to say, “I know exactly who I am.” This is a fragrance of contrasts, in color and texture, dry versus sweet, cool versus warm.” Joseph Erwin
